Summary
In the Mariahoeve community center we organize meaningful daytime activities in a living room setting for local residents with early dementia.Detailed description
Visitors can visit us from Monday to Thursday from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. As a volunteer you have the option to come and help for a day, part of a day or even an hour.
You will support a permanent employee of the meeting center.
For example, consider discussing the news of the day together, memory training, games, a creative activity or going for a walk.
An important and enjoyable part of the daytime recreation are the shared coffee and lunch moments where the most special life stories are shared. There is also time for exercise every day.
Who are/are you?
Of course you have an affinity with the elderly, you are social, you make contact easily, you are patient and you have good empathy. You enjoy really getting to know the visitors and giving them a fun day.
Where will you work?
Cardia is a warm elderly care organization. We offer person-centered care based on Planetree values. Working with pleasure, inspiration and expertise ensures satisfied residents. We have five nursing homes in the Haaglanden region. We also offer home care and day care. We are happy to use your talents. Together we make the difference!
