A small residential group is located on the ground floor, where a maximum of 8 residents with a physical disability live.
A volunteer for hand care or snoezelen at Duinstede performs the following activities:
- taking care of the hands
- filing and painting the nails
- hand rub and light hand massage
- In advanced dementia, this can take place under the guidance of aromatherapy and calm music (snoezelen).
You : have an affinity with elderly people with dementia and you are especially patient and polite and sociable.
We offer you:
A volunteer position that gives satisfaction and pleasure in a collegial and fun working environment. The opportunity to orientate yourself in this field and increase your personal skills. A mutual trial/training period and good guidance.
