Summary

Making boxes for the transport of refurbished tools to Africa.

Detailed description

Do you like to roll up your sleeves? And are you available 8 hours or more per week?

At the moment we can make good use of knowledge in the field of carpentry. We are looking for someone who can work independently, is accurate and flexible and likes to do other chores besides carpentry.

We can always use volunteers. Professionals are welcome. But 2 right hands and enthusiasm to help us achieve our goal are just as important to us.

Do you want to help fix up used tools and prepare them for transport? And do you want to contribute to poverty reduction in this way and offer young people in Africa the prospect of an independent existence?

Are you the one?

Then sign up via this site and we can quickly meet up to see what we can do for each other!

Some basic knowledge of the Dutch language is required.

About Gered Gereedschap

Gered Gereedschap Den Haag has been restoring used tools for a second life for 40 years. We also refurbish hand and treadle sewing machines in our workshop in Schroeder van der Kolk's thrift store in The Hague.
The tools are used for training in craft professions or donated as a basic package to starting self-employed people and training centers in Africa. In this way we support people in developing countries with learning a craft in order to build up an independent existence. And by recycling tools, we also contribute to a sustainable world.
