Always wanted to run your 'own' Free record shop? This is your chance!

In our own library and media center, the librarian ensures that information is easy to find for customers. It is the librarian's job to systematically present the books, CDs and DVDs.

Skills and Qualities

As a librarian you must have a passion for books and/or music and films. You have a helpful character and like to show customers where specific books are, e.g. books about cooking. You are a bookworm and like to research information thoroughly. In addition, you have a tidy and orderly character.

Knowledge about a diversity of books is an advantage but not a requirement. We think it is especially important that you have an affinity with books, CDs and DVDs.

Although you have to be able to do some things on your own, there is always a permanent employee who can help you if you can't quite figure it out. You are never alone, collaboration is an important core value within Kringloop De Kerketuinen.

What is interesting about this volunteer work?

You will work in a close-knit team of enthusiastic people. Everyone who works at Kringloop De Kerketuinen is here on a voluntary basis, which makes it a pleasure to work. You build a social network and you get the chance to (further) develop your talents. We have an eye for every individual.

We are happy with our volunteers and therefore offer a 25% discount on items from the store and you can select items for €10 per month.

While doing voluntary work you will receive coaching and support from a permanent employee. This person can help you, when necessary and desired, in carrying out your work and with your personal development.
