You help guide group De Hulst, a group of about 9 children with intellectual disabilities in the age of 6-10 years.Detailed description
A number of children sit in a stroller, other children walk along with the stroller or by the hand. During the walk, two permanent guides are always accompanied, but extra help is certainly welcome! You first help with putting on coats and shoes for the children, they all need individual help with this. Then you go on a walk with the children for an hour. It's good to know that the kids can't talk. Afterwards you help with taking off the coats and shoes and you will also help with the lunch. You help is much needed!Do you enjoy a pleasant walk?
Target group & impact
Lievegoed Kinderdagcentrum Marjatta is a daycare center for specialized guidance, day care, support at home or at school and treatment for children and young people with intellectual disabilities or developmental disabilities. The children are given a warm, homely environment where attention is paid in small groups to the quality and talents of each child.
Location
Lievegoed children's day center Marjatta is located in the Rivierenbuurt in The Hague. You will help the Hulst group. The supervisors of this group are Elise Juijn and Bo vd Reijken. They will receive you and help you guide the walk. Groep de Hulst can be reached at: 06-12771365.
