Will you become a language buddy for a newcomer in The Hague?

The Reach & Teach Buddy Program helps newcomers in The Hague and the surrounding area to practice the Dutch or English language and to build a social network.

Do you enjoy getting to know people from other cultures, helping them to practice the Dutch or English language and doing something fun together? Then sign up as a language buddy at Reach & Teach!

After registration, we will find a match for you based on your preferences, availability and expectations of the program. How many hours a week you spend with your buddy is up to you and your buddy. So it is very flexible.

You meet your buddy during an online introduction to the buddy manager. She will introduce you to each other and provide more information about Reach & Teach and the Buddy program. After this you are free to meet as often as you want, online or offline.

Examples of activities that our buddies have done together :

Taking city or nature walks, drinking coffee, practicing the language together, trying each other's national cuisine (in a restaurant or by cooking together!), going to a terrace together, and so on.

Everyone is welcome! Because our organization is located in The Hague, it is most practical if you live in the The Hague/Rotterdam/Leiden region, so that you can easily make an appointment with your buddy.
