Administrative Focal Point
ShillohCare is now accepting applications for a volunteer Administrative focal point. The incumbent will work full-time or part-time with the possibility of working remotely.
The candidate may not perform all the listed tasks, the following generic responsibilities will be assigned to the successful candidate according to qualification and experience and as outlined in the appointment letter.
The candidate acts as the administrative focal point for the project teams.
Responds or drafts responses to correspondence and other communications; uses standard word processing package to produce a wide variety of documents and reports; researches compile and organize information and reference materials from various sources for reports, work plans, briefings, presentations in meetings/conferences; generates a variety of standard statistical and other reports; follow-up on impending actions; updates and maintains large distribution lists; monitors, prepares and distributes various materials, reports, where possible using electronic formats etc. Maintains files (both paper and electronic) and databases. screen phone calls.
To be eligible for a volunteer position at the ShillohCare you must be:
• Available from a minimum of 3 months
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Good working knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
Please note that ShillohCare volunteer places are currently on a local basis and are non-funded.
