WE AIM TO REPLY CANDIDATES BETWEEN 4-6 WEEKS OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION. This may vary depending on the time of year.

Detailed description

Tasks include:

- Increase UID's awareness

- Participate in activities, conferences, etc. in order to keep abreast of developments that may be of importance to UID

- Point of contact for possible partners for UID

- Maintain and enrich the network of UID

- Keep UID visible on the main social media platforms

- Provide assistance to Project Manager at events

- Identify and take action on opportunities to increase UID's awareness

- Representing UID at external meetings


We ask:

- Background in marketing, advertising, communication, PR, journalism, etc.

- Excellent communication skills in the English language (knowledge of Dutch is a plus)

- Skills in writing strategies, press releases, concepts, use of social media, etc.

- Proficiency in conveying messages to a variety of groups

- Eye for detail, organizationally strong

- Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate with all levels (including management)

- Knowledge of Microsoft packages and Social Media platforms

- Strong in networks (also in a multi-cultural setting)

- Able to work independently and in a team
