Do you want to create a safe space for our queer community in The Hague? Do you want to advocate for queer emancipation? Then join our community care group(CCV)Detailed description
Are you somebody who wants to dedicate themselves to uplifting the queer community? Do you want to help build a The Hague without transphobia, homophobia, and racism? Are you ready to learn what it means to represent the queer community? Then become a part of our community care and volunteer (CCV) group!
As the name suggests, being part of the CCV group means providing care to the community. We are responsible for carrying out our stated mission of creating a safer space for our queer community, meaning that we handle a broad range of communicative and organizational tasks. Thanks to your efforts, we can make sure that everyone in THO-070 feels safe and heard.
The function: CCV member
- You provide personal care and support when someone in the community needs it
- You listen to community feedback and turn this into actionable plans
- You aid in keeping our space accessible and safe
- You support our other working groups and team members whenever necessary
- You assist with training and information sessions
- You advocate for queer emancipation in The Hague and the Netherlands

We choose to centre the experiences of queer people of colour (BPOC). This means that everyone in the QUEER, LGBTIAP+ community is welcome in our safe(r) space - it also means our work primarily focuses on Queer BPOC.
