Looking for a walking volunteer with social skills for Saturday morning (every other week). Pleasant 5 km walk and coffee afterwards.Detailed description
Every other week on Saturday morning, our walking club takes a nice walk through the dunes, a forest or another place in The Hague. Regular volunteer Roelf determines the routes together with the group (adults with an intellectual disability). As a volunteer you are expected to be present at the agreed locations and receive the participants there. During the walk you have a chat with everyone and you ensure a cozy atmosphere. We always drink a cup of coffee or tea afterwards or as a stopover. The participants come to the location themselves and are in good shape.

We do this through group activities for young people and adults, an exercise coach and home buddies. Home buddies offers practical support for families with a disabled child by using babysitting help, play help, accommodation and help with transport. In addition, volunteers are also deployed with adult people with disabilities.
