Vitalis is a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to support children between the ages of 5 to 18 who are in a vulnerable position, due to a lack of attention, and are at risk of getting into trouble. The main aim is to prevent intensive professional youth care.

We do this by linking these children to a voluntary buddy, maybe you? You will be screened, trained and matched with a child that suits you well. Together you go out regularly (once a week/once every two weeks) and will undertake fun activities. What matters is that the child is away from home for a while and has your full attention. There are plenty of opportunities to provide the children with a fun day, think of activities such as swimming, playing soccer, drawing, watching movies and so much more.

Volunteers should be above the age of 18, and should preferable have some life experience. Are you flexible, able to empathize with children and still a bit of a child at heart? Please contact Vitalis and see what you can offer a child who deserves a little extra attention and fun. If you are younger than 18, it might be possible to do an internship at Vitalis.
