Afternoon Childcare Activities Supervisor

Job description

As a volunteer of the children's walk-in you ensure that the children (4 to 12 years old) from Transvaal have a nice afternoon on Wednesday. You prepare an activity every week and carry it out in collaboration with other volunteers, interns and the child worker. Various activities are offered such as crafts, sports, cooking, games, making music, but sometimes we also go out with the children for an outing.

Where will you work?

You will work in the Bario community center at 175 Kockstraat in Transvaal.

We are looking for someone who:

- Enthusiastic about working with children;

- Likes to think up, prepare and carry out activities;

- Can work in a team;

- Is hospitable and has communicative and social skills;

- Can set clear boundaries and stand firmly in his/her shoes;

Working hours

Wednesday afternoon from 14:30-17:00.

Required:

A valid VOG (certificate of good conduct). In order to be able to do voluntary work via Wijkz, a VOG will be requested free of charge via the organization.
