Summary

Are you developing an environmental sustainability initiative, and looking for project management support? Then check out our free personalised coaching!

Detailed description

Context

At Advocates Who Thrive, we are currently developing our new coaching programme Lead to Succeed. Through this programme we'll support young advocates like you who are developing an initiative that contributes to environmental sustainability. The support covers various angles of setting up such an initiative, notably project management, fundraising & financial security, branding & marketing, effective communication and leadership skills, and your personal wellbeing while you're working on this. And it comes in a package that combines group-based and individual coaching sessions.

Our offer

We're now ready to test the Project Management part of the programme, with real people who are working on real sustainability challenges. What this means:

  • We provide you with free personalised coaching to support you in your project management skills and approaches for the initiative you're working on;
  • Through 2 group sessions and 2 or 3 individual sessions. Note that groups are small, i.e. three people including you;
  • All of them being online;
  • In the time range between 14 Oct. and 14 Nov.;
  • With one group session taking place in the first week, and the other one in the last week, planned in agreement with you;
  • Group sessions last 1.5 to 2 hrs, individual sessions take 1 hr.

Who are you?

  • Someone who's committed to environmental sustainability;
  • Living in the Netherlands;
  • Between 18 and 30 years old;
  • Currently developing an initiative that contributes to environmental sustainability. Can be any initiative as long as it has a sustained impact and tackles a sustainability issue at the source/root.

About Advocates Who Thrive

At Advocates Who Thrive we empower current or aspiring advocates to become more influential in their fight for justice. We do so by offering them training and coaching opportunities that build their confidence, capacity and competences to speak up, lobby & campaign for the environment, animal rights, human rights and inclusion.

In order to successfully address these urgent societal challenges, we need all kinds of angles and viewpoints to be on board. That’s where our main activities – the intensive, multi-day training courses that we organize – come in. Where international youth from all kinds of backgrounds come together. The training setup in combination with their passion and collective drive allows them to fully focus on the topic and on each other. As a result, participants develop themselves and each other in ways they never imagined before.

Fully in line with these values, in our organization we welcome and involve youth from all walks of life. No matter their background, religion, education, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation, everyone is welcome to join!
