Press Release 2026 Volunteer Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair

The Mix & Match Volunteer Job fair will feature over 30 organizations and over 300 volunteer vacancies spanning fields such as human rights, social justice, refugee and migrant assistance, sports and service clubs, homelessness, animal welfare, elderly care, child care, environmental conservation, and much more. 

Regardless of background or specialization, there will be something for everyone. Communications advisor, Lucie Cunningham, notes that, “ After 10 years of existence thanks to the leadership of Volunteer The Hague's project lead Tetyana Benzeroual, this fair has become an exciting opportunity for the international community to show what a positive impact they have on the City of The Hague.“ She adds: “ Connecting with local organisations in person is an efficient way of finding what role you could take on, whether it is for a one-off activity or a longer commitment.“ She concludes: “ Our past visitors reported enjoying meeting likeminded internationals there as well, they enjoyed talking at the cafe' of The Social Hub The Hague after talking to organisations.” 

Attendees can expect to be inspired by captivating speakers who will share their insights and experiences on the topics of particular interest to local internationals. They can learn about how volunteering could help them find their purpose, lead to paid work, as well as tips on how to make new friends in The Hague and how to grow local roots. Volunteer The Hague brings you this event with the support of their partner Social Hub Den Haag, parent organization PEP Den Haag and the Municipality of The Hague.
