Exciting Volunteer Roles in The Hague with no Dutch Required at the Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair

Volunteer The Hague, a project of PEP Den Haag, organizes a Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair on Saturday, 29 November 2025 for international residents of The Hague who want to do meaningful volunteer work that requires no fluency in Dutch. It will take place from 11:00 to 15:30 at The Social Hub, The Hague at Hoefkade 9, 2526 BN Den Haag. Due to a high level of interest, this event grows in scope and quality of content every year.

The Mix & Match Volunteer Job fair will feature over 30 organizations and over 300 volunteer vacancies spanning fields such as human rights, social justice, refugee and migrant assistance, homelessness, animal welfare, elderly care, child care, environmental conservation, and much more. Regardless of background or specialization, there will be something for everyone. This event is also a good chance for meeting like-minded internationals as well as for professional networking for volunteer and other opportunities.

Attendees can expect to be inspired by captivating speakers who will share their insights and experiences on the topics of particular interest to local internationals. They can learn about how volunteering can help them increase their chances on the job market in The Netherlands, how to set realistic and impactful personal goals for 2026, how to get funding and support to start neighbourhood initiatives in their own neighborhoods and how to remove the stress from fundraising for good causes.

Volunteer The Hague brings you this event with the support of their partner Social Hub Den Haag, parent organization PEP Den Haag and the Municipality of The Hague.  Space is limited, so interested participants are encouraged to save the date, check out the participating organizations and register on the event’s page on Volunteer The Hague’s website as soon as possible.

About the organizer:

Volunteer The Hague is an online resource for expats and internationals who are interested in volunteer opportunities in and around The Hague, connecting them with local non-profits that are eager to work with international volunteers. This is done by providing a space for the local Dutch non-profits to list their volunteer opportunities that do not require Dutch fluency. Internationals can browse these vacancies or use search options that can match their interests and skill sets with specific opportunities. Volunteer The Hague also provides informational resources and holds informative workshops and networking events year-round.
