About DCR Broedplaats
DCR is a cultural hotspot in The Hague, housed in the former 1930s offices of the Electriciteitsfabriek (Electricity Factory). It's located right next to the (still!) operational Uniper city power station, a landmark for The Hague with its recognizable towering factory chimneys and monumental architecture by city architect Schadee. A unique feature of our creative hub is the combination of four cultural venues with various studios for independent artists and a café. These include Zaal 3, the experimental theater of the National Theater, Studio LOOS as the center for new music, Nest as the platform for contemporary visual arts, and Cloud as our dance laboratory.
