About Stichting De Mix Wereldmuziektheater

Our mission Our Foundation works in the sustainable Zeeheldentheater. The Mix wants to use high-quality (music) theater and other activities bring together audiences of various ages and diverse cultures and offer opportunities. Musical theater plays a connecting role and broadens the audience's horizons, creating greater mutual understanding. Existing cultural achievements must be passed on to future generations so that they can build on them. Our vision We want to offer performances to the widest possible audience, through... a wide diversity of activities/performances: ranging from mainly aimed at children, or young people, or seniors, to suitable for families and all ages. It is important that the public becomes acquainted with art forms and music styles with which they do not often come into contact in everyday life: from jazz to folk music, from classical to music from non-Western cultures. We also want to give young artists and artists with a non-Western background an opportunity to develop and we strive for a crossover between various art forms.
