The Fruit & Vegetable Brigade uses the following core values as a benchmark for its actions: • work exclusively with volunteers • provide fruit and vegetables that are donated by others • only provide free fruit and vegetables • distribute fruit and vegetables as fairly as possible (via Regional Distribution Centers of Food Banks Netherlands) • meet all applicable food safety standards • try to burden the environment as little as possible (as much CO2 neutral as possible) • are neutral and independent • are transparent in our accountability.
