About Haagse Sportvereniging V.U.C.

HSV VUC is primarily a sports association where football and baseball / softball are central. In addition to the weekly training and competitions on the field, we also organize other fun activities for the youth. Both for big and small. Below are some of the activities that were organized in the past season.

Every year, in the spring and autumn, HSV VUC organizes an Open Day for all boys and girls from primary schools in the area to come and play football at HSV VUC. All children get a ball at their feet and afterwards there is a prize for everyone. The Open Days are in April and October / November and are announced through primary schools; participation in the open days is via registration with VUC. In the spring, children from 4 years to 8 years (groups 1 to 4) are invited. They then participate in a 4x4 football tournament and can show their football qualities. The children can register separately and are placed by VUC in small teams with 'real' club names, such as Ajax, Barcelona and Liverpool. In the autumn we hold a school tournament for groups 5 to 8 (ages 9 to 12 years). On this open day, team play is central and classmates play together in a team and participate in a 7x7 tournament. In this tournament, boys and girls compete for the VUC School Football Trophy for their school. Registration for this open day is directly linked to school teams.
