About Museum Bescherming Bevolking-Bunkercomplex Overvoorde

The Civil Protection Museum (MBB) is the organization that collects, preserves and presents the heritage of the former Civil Protection organization. With the aim of giving today's society insight into the importance of the Civil Protection organization (B.B.) during the Cold War. The MBB has two visitor locations: Command Post Rijswijk and Command Post Grou in Friesland. In Rijswijk there are also bunkers and buildings from the Second World War that were used by the German occupiers to listen in on radio traffic, particularly from the Royal Air Force. This history also forms part of the timeline within our museum.
