About Museum Bescherming Bevolking-Bunkercomplex Overvoorde

The Population Protection Museum (MBB) is the organization that collects, conserves and presents the heritage of the former Population Protection organization. With the aim of providing today's society with insight into the importance of the Population Protection Organization (BB) during the Cold War. The MBB has two visitor locations: Command Post Rijswijk and Command Post Grou in Friesland.
In Rijswijk there are also bunkers and buildings from the Second World War which were used by the German occupier to eavesdrop on radio traffic, especially of the Royal Air Force. This history is also part of the timeline within our museum.
