Action program Care and Innovation: More and more vulnerable and elderly residents live in The Hague. Residents who generally want to continue living at home. Even if they need help or support. The demand for care is increasing and the staff shortage in the care sector is also increasing. This scarcity requires new, smarter solutions. In the Care & Innovation action program, the Municipality of The Hague focuses on the deployment of technological innovation in healthcare, both in the private environment and in the healthcare sector. By arranging smarter care and support for young and old, residents of The Hague can live independently at home (for longer). The resident is always central in this: we work for and together with the residents of The Hague on new ideas and solutions.
