Detailed description

Are you passionate about building communities that make a real difference? Do you want to help transform how we think about health — shifting the focus from treating sickness to preventing it?

About Rypple

We are a social startup on a mission to make “health-ing” — living healthy, preventing illness, and thriving — the easiest thing in the world. We work with governments and businesses to shift systems toward prevention using smart data, economics, and real-world action. Our vision is bold, and our tools are innovative, but right now, we’re a small team powered by big ideas and amazing volunteers.

What You’ll Do

As our Community Builder, you will:

  • Grow and nurture a passionate community of people who care about prevention and health transformation
  • Help connect diverse voices — from innovators to policymakers to everyday people — around Rypple’s mission
  • Organize virtual meetups, discussions, and engagement activities to keep the community active and inspired
  • Share stories, insights, and news that bring our work and vision to life
  • Be a vital bridge between Rypple’s team, partners, and supporters as we build a new way of thinking about health

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience building a social impact community from the ground up
  • A chance to learn about health systems, prevention, and innovative approaches to public good
  • Collaborate with a dedicated, international team of experts and changemakers
  • Meaningful impact: help shape a future where health begins with prevention
  • A reference and letter of recommendation for your work and contributions
  • Opportunities to grow your network in health, policy, and innovation sectors

Please Note

Rypple is a startup in an early phase, so this is a volunteer role with no current salary or funding available. We are deeply grateful for your time and passion and are committed to creating value and recognition for every team member.

  • You’re enthusiastic, reliable, and love bringing people together
  • You’re a great communicator and storyteller
  • You have some experience or strong interest in community engagement, social impact, or health-related fields
  • You’re comfortable with virtual collaboration and social media
  • You believe prevention is the future of health and want to be part of systemic change

About Rypple

In a world where healthcare systems in emerging markets are overwhelmed by the burden of disease, our mission is to make staying healthy easier by creating an environment that incentivises health promotion. We combine salutogenesis principles, i.e. what keeps people well and a big picture approach on how different parts of the health ecosystem work together to create long-lasting and scalable solutions.
Our purpose is to make staying healthy easier by creating an environment that incentivises health promotion. We envision a world where every person, regardless of economic status, thrives through proactive health promotion, empowering individuals to lead healthier and fuller lives.
