We will soon start making tapestries in the context of the slavery past. Would you like to take a ride in a rental bus every now and then?
Detailed description
At several locations in the city, large tapestries are being worked on around the history of slavery. Many people are working on this, using different techniques such as embroidery, quilting, punching, tufting.
Sometimes things need to be transported back and forth. Think of, for example, from one location to another in the city itself. But it can also involve a trip to Groningen, because this project is also running there (and is a great success). Do you want to help us with that?
It is a project that brings people together. It is about raising awareness about the history of slavery, because this is also part of our history.
