Detailed description
Escort and Drive in the Escamp district is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to accompany and transport residents with their own car for an expense allowance. The participants (60+) live in Escamp. You bring people to, for example: the (dentist) or the hospital, a cemetery or ceremony, a birthday or family visit, a museum or the shopping street.
It concerns residents who need guidance during their visit and cannot use public transport due to their health or limited mobility. You guide a resident during a visit and provide transport with your own car. It is valuable work that gives a lot of satisfaction!
What are you going to do:
You transport residents to their destination and back home and you ensure safety. You signal problem situations and report this to the coordinator. You can participate in meetings and think along about the development and improvement of Guiding and Driving.

Client support staff and social workers work at our Service Points and it is easy to make contact with youth workers, community workers, counselors for the elderly and other professionals in the neighbourhood.
With our professionals, supported by a large number of volunteers, we support residents from young to old who can no longer manage on their own. Together with our partners in the neighbourhood, in education, care, welfare, housing, safety, with residents' organizations and the municipality, we make an important contribution to the well-being of residents in our neighbourhoods. Due to the close cooperation, close to the residents, their talents and possibilities are used and we give them the opportunity to solve problems themselves, in and with their social network.
