"Begeleiden en Rijden" (Guide and Drive), a wonderful project, is looking for people with their own car and driver's license to transport seniors. Compensation per ride.
Escort and Drive in the Escamp district is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to accompany and transport residents with their own car for an expense allowance. The participants (60+) live in Escamp. You bring people to, for example: the (dentist) or the hospital, a cemetery or ceremony, a birthday or family visit, a museum or the shopping street.
It concerns residents who need guidance during their visit and cannot use public transport due to their health or limited mobility. You guide a resident during a visit and provide transport with your own car. It is valuable work that gives a lot of satisfaction!
What are you going to do:
You transport residents to their destination and back home and you ensure safety. You signal problem situations and report this to the coordinator. You can participate in meetings and think along about the development and improvement of Guiding and Driving.
