Detailed description

Are You Ready to Revolutionize Healthcare Through Powerful Communication?

Volunteer/Internship Opportunity: Branding & Communications Specialist

The Challenge We're Tackling

The healthcare system is failing us. While billions are spent treating preventable diseases, the root causes go unaddressed. Economic barriers keep essential care out of reach. Environmental factors silently damage our health. And outdated systems perpetuate a cycle of treating symptoms instead of preventing illness.

Rypple is changing this. We're pioneering "health-ing" – a revolutionary approach that shifts healthcare from reactive treatment to proactive prevention. And we need your creativity and communications expertise to help us spread this vision worldwide.

About This Volunteer/Internship Role

This position offers real-world experience with meaningful impact. While unpaid, you'll gain valuable skills, professional connections, and portfolio-building opportunities that can propel your communications career forward. We offer flexible hours and the possibility of remote work.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop our revolutionary "health-ing" brand that disrupts traditional healthcare narratives and positions Rypple as the leader in preventative healthcare
  • Create compelling pitch decks and presentations that secure partnerships with government agencies, healthcare systems, and even pharmaceutical companies
  • Lead impactful advocacy campaigns that drive policy change and public awareness around preventative healthcare
  • Design targeted media campaigns that spotlight the economic and social benefits of prevention-first approaches
  • Create digital campaigns that engage diverse audiences across platforms and generate measurable action
  • Craft persuasive content for our Policy Action Lab, GovTech platform, and Health Incentivisation initiatives
  • Build a comprehensive communications strategy that reaches everyone from policymakers to community leaders
  • Engage directly with stakeholders to shift the conversation around healthcare

Campaign Examples You Might Lead:

  • Prevention Pays - Highlighting the economic return on investment of preventative healthcare policies
  • Health-ing Heroes - Showcasing communities and policymakers successfully implementing preventative approaches
  • System Shift - Educational campaign explaining how "health-ing" transforms traditional healthcare models
  • Access for All - Advocacy campaign addressing economic barriers to preventative care

Who You Are:

  • A strategic communicator who can translate complex ideas into compelling messages
  • A creative thinker passionate about challenging established systems
  • Someone eager to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact
  • Excited by the opportunity to define communications for a revolutionary concept in healthcare

Experience level: We welcome applications from students, recent graduates, or career-changers looking to build experience in communications while contributing to an important cause.

Why Volunteer With Rypple?

Make tangible impact. Your work will directly influence how governments approach healthcare policy, helping create systems that prevent illness and promote wellbeing for millions.

Build your portfolio. Develop impressive campaign materials, branding work, and strategic communications that demonstrate your skills to future employers.

Shape a revolutionary brand. "Health-ing" represents a fundamental shift in how we approach healthcare – and you'll be at the forefront of defining what this looks like.

Join a passionate team. Work alongside experts dedicated to transforming healthcare through our Policy Action Lab, GovTech platform, and Business Innovation Base.

Gain valuable skills. Develop expertise in branding, communications strategy, stakeholder engagement, and campaign development.

Ready to Help Us Transform Healthcare?

If you're excited about using your communications skills to create healthier communities and more sustainable healthcare systems, we want to hear from you. This volunteer position requires a commitment of 5-10 hours per week for at least 3 months.

Apply by sending your resume and a brief introduction to: [email protected] or [email protected]
