We are looking for a volunteer who speaks Ukrainian for a resident with dementia. Speaking her native language gives her a sense of recognition, safety, and connection. This can be of great value, especially in the case of dementia.

As a volunteer, you bring cheerfulness and personal attention. Think of having a cup of coffee or tea together, taking a walk, looking at photos, playing a game, or simply having a nice conversation in Ukrainian. Your presence can make her day just that little bit brighter.

We will determine together how much time you wish to commit. We will look at your availability in close consultation and agree on how many hours you want to dedicate and on which day or parts of the day this suits best. Whether you can come in for an hour a week or have more time available, all help is very welcome. We believe it is important that the volunteer work aligns well with your capabilities as well as the needs of the resident.

Would you like to really make a difference with your language and attention? Then we would love to get in touch with you.
