Summary
We are looking for supervisors for an outdoor play day for children. On this day we play games and give workshops, such as dancing and boxing.Detailed description
As a supervisor of this outdoor play day, you supervise children, explain games, help provide lunch and ensure that the participants have a fun and enjoyable time. You will also help with the preparation of the activity. Afterwards you help clean up.
Before the outdoor play day, a preparation meeting takes place in which all volunteers get to know each other, the activities are discussed and roles are assigned about who will do what. A basic youth work workshop is also given. The date for this meeting will be determined in consultation with the participants.
You start the outdoor play day by welcoming the children. During the activities you help the children with the games and workshops. You ensure that the children play safely and follow the rules. It is important that everyone has a fun and safe day.
We are doing this activity with both Dutch and international volunteers. Due to the diverse backgrounds of the children, they do not all speak Dutch or English equally well.
If you register as a volunteer, we will apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct for you.
