At Evita Lokaal, we organize daily activities for seniors in Benoordenhout. From painting and philosophy to communal meals and movie afternoons – our activities bring people together and provide connection and meaningful daytime activities.
To make this possible, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are willing to fill in as a hostess or host on a flexible basis. You step in when colleagues are absent due to vacation or illness – without fixed obligations, but with much appreciation and meaningful contact.
Your role as a hostess or host
As a volunteer hostess or host at Evita Lokaal, you ensure that our visitors feel welcome and at ease. Your tasks are varied and social in nature. You:
- Receives and welcomes elderly people at the activities;
- Pours coffee and tea and helps with light support tasks where necessary;
- Offers a listening ear and enjoys having a chat;
- Assists with shared meals (setting tables, clearing, creating a pleasant atmosphere);
- Guides participants in activities such as painting, movie afternoons, social club, and other gatherings;
- Works together with an enthusiastic team of volunteers and staff.

- You are in possession of a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) or are willing to apply for one.
