Summary
Guided tour and explanation of the 18 sculptures in Westbroekpark
Detailed description
Westbroekpark is one of the most beautiful parks in The Hague. The park features large playing fields, ponds, and waterways. The isolated groups of trees and picturesque vistas evoke an English park. Westbroekpark is especially known for its magnificent rose garden: the International Rosarium, established in 1960. Between June and the end of October, 20,000 rose bushes bloom here in approximately 300 beds. These are the newest varieties, bred and voluntarily submitted by growers from around the world.
Westbroekpark also boasts 18 beautiful sculptures by artists from the first half and mid-20th century. The artists all have a connection to The Hague.

About Stichting Art&Jazz Scheveningen en Den Haag
Art&Jazz is a collective of approximately 80 artists from The Hague for which we organize various exhibitions and activities.
We also organize an art lunch in the Park, usually in collaboration with restaurant Greens, at the Westbroekpark Sculpture Walks.
In the Westbroekpark there are 18 permanent statues made by mostly The Hague artists in the 1950s and 1960s and 1 annual changing statue.
