Join the Sewing Team of Team Winterklaar and help sew insulating curtains for residents in Laak. Together, we make homes warmer!

Are you interested in sewing or want to learn this skill? Join the Sewing Team of Team Winterklaar and help make homes in Laak more energy-efficient and comfortable! With Team Winterklaar from the Vadercentrum, we help vulnerable residents in the neighborhood with insulating curtains. These curtains help them save energy and keep their homes warmer. You can play an important role by helping to sew the curtains!


What will you do?

  • Sew curtains for the residents of Laak. You'll learn to work with different fabrics and ensure the curtains provide good insulation against cold and heat loss.
  • Be part of a fun and engaged team of volunteers in the Vadercentrum’s sewing workshop.


What do we offer you?

  • Training and guidance in sewing, even if you have no experience.
  • A friendly and educational work environment.
  • The chance to make a real difference in the neighborhood and help people save energy.


What do we ask from you?

  • Enthusiasm and commitment, even if you don't have sewing experience.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and contribute to a more sustainable Laak.

The project promotes inclusive sustainability and social participation by actively involving volunteers in production, information and implementation.
