Wanted: A cook and meal supervisor for ailing guests

Since September 2022, the HouseMartin Foundation has been hosting homeless and sick people in the Hague. After referral from the street nurse team, these guests can stay here for a short time to recover from an illness or to rehabilitate after hospitalization.

We are looking for a cook to prepare, cook and provide affordable, healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner for our ailing guests, make a healthy menu, purchase groceries and clear the tables and washes up.

You do not have to perform any care/nursing activities and you have to be available for at least 1 half-day (4 hours per half-day) per week.

Who are you?

● can listen well

● feels empathy with people with health issues

● in addition to your own standards and values, respect those of others

● have experience with the tasks you commit to.

● have an advantage if you speak a non-Western language.
