Web development Coordinator

Welcome to Viable Community — a non-profit organization based in the European Union, committed to community-led projects that focus on the preservation and regeneration of nature. We are currently seeking a Web Development Coordinator to collaborate with our existing coordinator and help lead the team in implementing our ongoing web development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-lead, alongside the current coordinator, the development of the website, the new volunteer platform, and the marketplace platform in collaboration with a small team of volunteers
• Coordinate all communications and tasks related to the project plan
• Ensure the timely completion of project milestones and deliverables

• A volunteer platform where changemakers connect
• A marketplace powered by purpose-driven tokens
• A portal to co-fund solar + agroecology (AgriVoltaics)

You’re a great fit if you:

• Thrive in remote, async teams
• Care deeply about sustainability and tech for impact
• Are based in Europe
• Know or are willing to learn: don’t need to know them but need to be willing to learn it as it is what we’re using: AWS: amplify, S3, IAM, etc; Next.js / React / TailwindCSS; Payload CMS; Cypress; Github; Spring / Java, Kotlin.
