About the speakers
Bernice Dekker is a community builder at Wijkz with a background in strategy and social impact, having started her own social work journey through volunteering with the American Red Cross. Over the past year, she built a new neighborhood center ("buurthuis") in The Hague from the ground up to foster local connections.
Mithila Mohan is a visual artist and creative teacher who turned her passion into a growing art practice for kids and adults after starting as a volunteer in that very same neighborhood center.
