We are looking for a communications volunteer who has experience/knowledge with online marketing, social media campaigns and the graphic design software Canva.
We are looking for a communications volunteer who has experience/knowledge with online marketing, social media campaigns and the graphic design software Canva.
We would like a volunteer to join us in helping promote our mission through relevant (social media) channels. We would like said candidate to create social media posts promoting our ongoing projects as well as increasing our reach and presence online. This is a role where the candidate can gain valuable experience putting their knowledge into practice in a supportive work environment.
Ideally, we are looking for somebody who can commit long term (8-12 months) for 1 to 2 days a week (Tuesday and/or Wednesday). Our staff and volunteers are in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesday between 10am-3pm but this depends on what work needs to be done.

Biblionef works closely with schools that lack sufficient resources, and with local libraries that are either too far from a public library, or simply do not have enough resources to purchase new books.
We help educators and community libarians set up or improve their own libraries and organize reading sessions.

For institutions or persons who want to call on Biblionef, the first step is to fill in a Biblionef Application Form, in which they make their wishes known.
Six months after the books have arrived on site, the teachers and the children are asked to provide feedback on the books they have received.
Since its foundation in 1991, Biblionef Netherlands has sent more than 1,000,000 brand new children's books in English, Dutch and other European and African languages to more than 1.6 million children worldwide.
