Are you curious to report what is happening in the city?Dutchbuzz looks forward to see you!

For this volunteer position we are looking for a member of the international community who is:


- Curious about what is happening in The Hague

- Keeps up with local news (or is willing to start reading up!)

- Fluent in English with a pleasant speaking voice (Dutch internationals are welcome too!)

- Able to pick up the phone and meet the newsmakers (extrovert rather than introvert!).


Training:

Dutchbuzz team members will introduce you to the necessary presentation and recording techniques. No experience is required, but a background in journalism/communications is an advantage.


The job itself:

Once we have established your area of expertise, you will be asked to cover events or interview newsmakers in The Hague. We will brief you beforehand. Eventually, you will be able to initiate your own reporting and interviews.
