Stichting J&O is looking for a volunteer hairdresser or barber who wants to pass on their trade to boys who want to discover their talents and future.
For the boys of Stichting J&O, we are looking for an enthusiastic hairdresser or barber who wants to share his/her knowledge and experience with young people (13–21 years old) who are still searching for their direction.
Many of our boys have talent, but sometimes lack a concrete future perspective. By introducing them to the hairdressing profession — from basic techniques and hygiene to fades, cutting techniques, and customer interaction — we offer them practical skills and self-confidence.
What are you going to do?
- Give workshops or practical lessons in cutting and trimming techniques
- Explain hygiene, materials, and work posture
- Guiding young people during practice sessions
- Discussing entrepreneurship and working as an independent barber
