How nice it is when you have someone who understands you and understands you. We are looking for a volunteer for an elderly Afghan-speaking gentleman in our nursing home.Detailed description
Do you speak Afghan in addition to English and/or Dutch? Then we have a nice match for you! An older gentleman with dementia lives in our nursing home and only speaks Afghan. This makes it difficult for the gentleman to make contact with fellow residents and care workers.
We are looking for someone who enjoys visiting Mr. several times a week. Perhaps you can find out what Mr. likes to do and you can undertake these activities together with Mr. Or just enjoy a conversation and a cup of coffee together. Visits like this are worth their weight in gold for sir!
