Cooking for the elderly in Benoordenhout
At Evita Lokaal, we regularly organize activities for the elderly, such as:
- Movie afternoons
- The monthly meal Pan on the Table
- Special themed dinners
- Daytime activities
During these moments, our volunteers cook with pleasure and care. Our guests enjoy not only a delicious, fresh meal, but also the pleasant get-together with neighbors.
Your role as a volunteer cook
As a volunteer cook at Evita Lokaal, you cook for small groups of seniors (approximately 10–20 people) during our activities. You determine the menu yourself, do the shopping, prepare the meal in our kitchen, and ensure everything is cleaned up neatly afterwards.
During the activities, you often work together with a host or hostess, who helps with serving and clearing. Together, you form a great team that ensures a warm atmosphere and tasty dishes.

- You have a welcoming and friendly attitude
- You enjoy working with the elderly
- You are in possession of a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) or are willing to apply for one.
