Help our garden shine! Enjoy flexible volunteering and create a green oasis where seniors love to gather.
Evita's Garden Local
Evita Lokaal has a beautiful garden that we love to use. We drink coffee there with the people from the Day Activities program, the painting club enjoys gathering there in good weather, and in the summer, we eat there together with neighborhood residents. We have major maintenance carried out by a landscaper, but in between, the garden could use a little more love and attention. Do you have a green thumb and some time to spare? Then help us keep our garden beautiful so that the elderly can truly enjoy it!
Your role as a green volunteer
As a garden volunteer, you help keep the garden tidy. You:
- Comes regularly to remove weeds and care for plants
- Bringing life back to our 2 raised vegetable beds
- Has the freedom to implement your own ideas, in consultation.
In this way, together with us, you create a lovely garden that our older visitors will enjoy more!

Are you the volunteer we are looking for?
- You have a green thumb
- You have time to spend a few hours on the garden at least twice a month.
- You enjoy doing something for the elderly.
- You have a welcoming and friendly attitude
- You are in possession of a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) or are willing to apply for one.
