Gain confidence in fundraising! Learn key terms, storytelling, donor retention, and how to build meaningful donor relationships without fear.

Detailed description

Date: 16 June, 2025

Time: 16:00 – 18:00

Location: PEP Den Haag, Riviervismarkt 2, The Hague

Facilitator: Dawn Heuff, Consultant at Aurore Fundraising Consultancy

New to fundraising and not sure where to start? Need to boost your confidence or get your board more engaged in fundraising? Whether you're preparing for a campaign, trying to grow your donor base, or just want to feel more comfortable asking for support, this interactive workshop is for you.

In this energizing two-hour session, Dawn Heuff will break down common myths about individual giving and share the science behind why people donate. You’ll learn how to shift your mindset, cut through the jargon, and connect with donors through powerful storytelling. We'll also explore the difference between sponsorship and strategic partnerships and how to talk to potential supporters in a way that feels natural and authentic.

By the end, you’ll walk away with fresh ideas, practical tools, and the confidence to start (or strengthen) your fundraising journey, plus a few creative ways to keep your donors coming back. Let's take the fear out of fundraising together!
