Become a buddy to a resident at Respect in The Hague. Have coffee together, go for a walk, or enjoy a good conversation. We will agree on the location and times together.
Having coffee together, taking a walk, or listening to each other's stories. Are you looking for volunteer work in The Hague where personal contact is central? As a Buddy at Respect, you visit a resident and discover together what you both enjoy.
You are welcome at Bosch en Duin, Zeewinde, and Het Uiterjoon . Together with a well-being coach, we will look at which resident you click with and which location and times suit you.
Your company makes the difference
As a buddy, you get to know one resident. Perhaps you share a hobby, enjoy walking, or love each other's stories. That way, a visit can grow into something to look forward to.
You don't have to come up with activities or bring any special talents. Just being there, listening, and showing interest are already valuable.
Does this suit you?
We are looking for someone who has genuine attention for others and enjoys visiting a resident and spending time together. Experience in healthcare is not necessary. It is mainly about the connection between you.
You will be assigned a well-being coach as your dedicated point of contact . Together, you will look at which resident suits you best, taking into account your interests and wishes. You can also turn to the well-being coach afterwards with questions and ideas.
You can claim your travel expenses. A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required for this volunteer position.
