Are you between 18 and 30 years old and would you like to contribute to society? As a buddy at Careibu you make a difference in someone's life!
Working as a buddy at Careibu
As a volunteer, intern or part-time job at Careibu, you will be matched with a senior, a child from a family that could use your help or someone with dementia. Together you bridge the gap between different generations and make the world a bit more beautiful
What are you going to do?
- Have a nice chat and listen to beautiful stories
- Do something fun together in your city
- Help with small chores around the house
- Support with activities
What does it get you?
- Real connections: You build a special bond with someone who really appreciates your help.
- More meaning: You make a positive impact on someone else and on your own life. Plus: a conversation with someone outside your own bubble is educational!
- Experience: This looks great on your resume and is a great learning experience for life!
- An (unexpected) friendship: You can experience beautiful moments together with your match. From a visit to the Rijksmuseum to a cup of coffee in your favorite café!

What can you count on?
- You have control over who you are matched with.
- Wich activities? How often do you see each other? And when? You make the agreements yourself together with your match.
- We give you all the information and training you need to get started with confidence. You don't need any specific experience to get started.
