Summary

As a Digital Homework Tutor, you ensure that someone who has to go to school from home on a laptop is still seen and heard by you!

Detailed description

Digital Homework Tutor

The Bruggenmakers Foundation offers children extra support. This program is specifically for primary school children who are not attending school and could use additional support (stay-at-home children). The children staying at home are between 6 and 13 years old. We are looking for Digital Homework Tutors specifically for this group of children. Students staying at home receive digital distance learning via laptops. We use programs such as JEELO, SQUALA, and KHAN ACADEMY for this.

Do you enjoy puzzles, Dutch, math, conversation, and solving problems together? And do you have at least two hours a week to spare? Then become a Digital Homework Tutor. As a Digital Homework Tutor, you'll ensure that someone who has to go to school on a laptop at home is still seen and heard by you! Make a difference!

What can you expect?

-get to know a primary school pupil digitally

-Come out of your own bubble

-Help a student who cannot go to school due to circumstances

-Decide when you speak to each other

-Your own coordinator to fall back on

- A short introductory training in your own time, webinars and tips

Who are you as a Digital Homework Tutor?

-You are at least 17 years old (you can be a pupil, student, working, etc.). If you are not yet 18, one of your parents/guardians must declare that you are allowed to participate).

-You are available at least 2 hours per week

-You are interested in becoming a volunteer

-A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is no problem for you (we will request it for you)

-Video calling holds no secrets for you

Where you live doesn't matter, as you'll become a Digital Homework Tutor!

Do you recognize yourself? Then we're looking for you!
