Summary

We need help creating our tokens and DAO to facilitate co-ownership and shared decision-making.

Detailed description

Welcome to Viable Community!

We're a non-profit organization rooted in the EU, building community-managed projects dedicated to nature's preservation and regeneration. Currently, we're developing an innovative project in Extremadura, Spain, that combats desertification through Agrivoltaics (solar panels over soil) and regenerative agriculture.

Are you passionate about Web3 and its potential to drive positive change? Join us as a Web3 Enthusiast volunteer and play a vital role in our exciting initiatives:

  • Community Token Creation: Develop a token that aligns with our mission – sustainability and community empowerment. Represent ownership in our regenerative projects.
  • Sustainable Marketplace: Build and optimize a platform for members to exchange goods and services, fostering community engagement.
  • Decentralized Decision-Making (Voting): Develop a system where token-holding members can vote on key project decisions.
  • ReFi DAO Local Node: Represent Viable Community in The Hague's ReFi DAO Local Node program, collaborating with global enthusiasts to explore decentralized governance.

We're looking for:

  • Passion for Web3 and its potential for social and environmental good.
  • Experience or interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and DeFi.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Enthusiasm for learning in the fast-paced Web3 landscape.

Benefits:

  • Work on cutting-edge projects at the intersection of technology and sustainability.
  • Access a supportive community of like-minded individuals.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Web3 technologies and decentralized governance.
  • Flexible volunteering hours and remote work options.

Additionally:

  • Do you have expertise in tokenomics? We need help creating our tokens and DAO to facilitate co-ownership and shared decision-making.
  • We have a draft whitepaper and need your help adding specific details.

General Information:

  • Viable Community website: https://www.viable.community
  • We have around 50 active volunteers and a project in Extremadura, Spain, focused on combating desertification.
  • We use a bottom-up management approach with self-managing teams and Holacracy practices.
  • Our expectations and way of working align with the previous descriptions (short meetings, digital workspace, etc.).
  • We offer similar benefits (skill building, engaging activities, etc.) with a time commitment of 8 hours/week (ideally more) and remote work flexibility.
