Summary

Are you making the most of LinkedIn? This session will share top tips about how to use this powerful platform.

Detailed description

Throughout your career, including time you are seeking for or undertaking volunteer work, knowing how to highlight this on your profile can significantly strengthen your personal brand. LinkedIn is well known as a job search tool, but are you aware of all the other ways you can build and nurture your network, learn from others and share your own knowledge and experiences?

This workshop is part of the Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair held on November 18 alongside two more workshops: "How to Get Unstuck and How Volunteering Can Help with That" by Vassia Sarantopoulou and “Integrating Volunteering Into Your Job-Hunting Strategy," by Sarah Feid. While event registration is not mandatory, we would greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to secure your spot. Your registration not only helps us plan better but also ensures we can provide you with the best possible experience. Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to welcoming you at the Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair!

About Volunteer The Hague

Volunteer The Hague is a project initiated by the Municipality of The Hague and organized by the local non-profit organization PEP Den Haag. The Volunteer The Hague site hosts hundreds of volunteer activities for every age, skill-set, and availability. Importantly, the volunteer listings on Volunteer The Hague’s website do not require Dutch language skills. You can browse these vacancies or use their Talent Scan tool through which you can find individualized listings after answering a series of questions about your skills and interests. All listings will provide you with information about the tasks expected, preferred availability in days and number of hours, and perks offered.
