The Viable Community is seeking self-motivated volunteers with experience in Event Coordination to help build and shape our mission to protect nature.

Are you passionate about sustainability, skilled in organising impactful events and live in The Hague or close by? Join our dynamic team at Viable Community where we work to drive environmental awareness and action. We're looking for an Events Coordinator to manage both online and in-person events that engage our community, stakeholders, and partners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute online and in-person events.
  • Manage event logistics, from venue booking to online platform setup.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, speakers, and external partners to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Oversee registration, attendee engagement, and post-event feedback collection.


What we are looking for:

  • Experience in event planning.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Passion for environmental issues and a commitment to sustainability.
  • Must be located in The Hague, or willing to commute for in-person events.
