In this workshop, you will learn how to integrate volunteering into job-hunting, as well as career opportunities for internationals.Detailed description
During the workshop, Sarah will share her own experience of going from an international student to working for a Dutch employer. You will learn more about the working culture in the Netherlands as well as the key economic clusters of the region. You will gain practical information on job hunting and career opportunities for internationals, and Sarah will share how volunteering may be a career strategy to unlock new opportunities.
This workshop is part of the Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair held on November 18 alongside two more workshops: "How to Get Unstuck and How Volunteering Can Help with That" by Vassia Sarantopoulou and “LinkedIn: Top Tips For Volunteers and Job Seekers," by Renée Tentori. Sarah is in close contact with employers and internationals and strives to help newcomers in The Hague region by providing assistance and information about working and living in The Hague region.
