About Jeu de Boules club Altijd Voor Waarts "AVW"

Jeu de Boules club Always Voor Waarts “AVW” was founded in 1999. Our club consists of ± 100 elderly and young elderly. We are also open to younger and/or youthful players. Our main aim is to offer local residents a cozy place where people come together and enjoy an active game in the open air. We also organize mutual tournaments and duels. Furthermore, it is possible to participate in some “Open Tournaments” elsewhere.

Several members of our club are active as volunteers. They act as supervisors or maintain the playing field and the surrounding garden. The efforts of volunteers are greatly appreciated. They help us to ensure the continued existence of the club.

Our courts, 10 in total, are located next to Mozartpark on Mozartlaan in The Hague, opposite the entrance of flat Mozartduin 203 to 245. We use Buurthuis Wings behind our premises.
