About Basalt Revalidatie

With ten locations, Basalt is the expertise center for complex, specialist medical rehabilitation care in South Holland. Approximately 1,200 employees ensure that patients who are limited as a result of illness, accident or congenital disorder can participate in society again. To this end, we encourage patients to push boundaries, increase their own strength and regain ownership of their lives. Basalt is committed to continuous innovation and improvement of the quality of our care and works closely with general practitioners and all major healthcare institutions in the region, such as hospitals and nursing homes. Much attention is paid to ensuring that the chain care runs smoothly. In addition, we work closely with mytyl and tyltyl schools to align education and rehabilitation goals. We are a training hospital for rehabilitation physicians and GZ psychologists and we have an academization agreement with the LUMC.
