About Buurtcentrum De Mussen

De Mussen is the oldest Neighborhood Center in the Netherlands and is located in the heart of the Schilderswijk in The Hague. De Mussen is visited every week by more than 2000 local residents of all ages and different ethnic backgrounds. De Mussen offers children, young people and their parents in the neighborhood opportunities for development. We do this by developing and offering activities in the areas of Participation, Art & Culture, Health & Exercise and Nature & Technology. De Mussen is an inspiring place where local residents can meet, develop their talents and make their dreams come true. De Mussen has developed in recent years; we have grown and the quality of our programs has received a significant boost.
